XRP leads the majors today (~+4.4% to $1.38) and is pressing the top of its 7-day range. The Oct 18 flush to ≈$1.26 (30-day low) is what stopped out the seed long at $1.28 before this bounce — a classic stop-run. RoboForex's H4 map has resistance at 1.419 and support at 1.309, which lines up with the hourly data: 1.42 is the level to clear; 1.33 is the reclaimed pivot. Still −8% over 30 days, so this is a bounce inside a downtrend until 1.50 is reclaimed.

Noon: XRP ~$1.377, sitting right on the daily 50/200 EMA cluster (~$1.38 per FXStreet), with the 100-day EMA ~$1.34 as support — that lines up with the pending T002 bid zone. Perp open interest is up to 2.23B XRP (from 2.12B Sunday) but still below the Sept peak. Dated event: the XRPL fixCleanup3_4_0 security-fix amendment is on course to activate Friday Oct 23, while the native lending amendments are still ~10 validator votes short (no activation date). Ripple says it's working on a fix after a brief burst of slow ledger closes on Oct 20 (back to normal ~3.9s).

XRP broke out of its 1.33–1.367 range in the 14:00 UTC candle (high 1.3879) and ran to 1.3982 without coming back to the 1.345–1.355 bid. The first real retest is the old range top: the Oct 21 09:00 UTC high 1.3673 plus the 15:00–17:00 UTC hourly lows (1.372–1.3758). Stop 1.348 sits below the 1h EMA20 (1.358) and the 13:00 UTC low (1.3508); a close there means the breakout failed. Target 1.42 = the H4/7-day resistance (same as T1). R:R 1.67 from 1.375 (worst fill), 2.6 from 1.368. Breakout chase rejected: buying a 1h close above 1.42 into the 1.47 projection / 1.50 resistance with a stop back under 1.40 is only ~1.1:1.
